To make an online contribution to The Journey at Mayfair Community Church click the "Give Online" link above.
You will be prompted to login or create an account. Once you are logged in you can choose to either
"Give Now" which is a one time giving, or you can choose "Scheduled Giving" which allows you to setup recurring giving.

The Journey uses eChecks for online payments and giving.

The Journey at Mayfair Community Church is a tax exempt religious organization. We use Planning Center Online's Giving system for online giving. Any time you enter payment information (such as a credit card, a debit card, an ACH account, etc.) in a Planning Center application, it's sent over an encrypted connection from your web browser directly to Stripe - one of the largest, most advanced payment processors in the world. They handle payment processing for services like Kickstarter, Lyft, Shopify, Pinterest, Twitter, Heroku, SureveyMonkey, and many other companies. Once Stripe receives valid payment information, they then issue us an encrypted "token." We use these tokens to create charges against those credit cards and bank accounts - even though we can't access the full details of those payment methods. PCO can only fetch the basic information such as the last 4 digits, they type of payment method, its expiration date, and the customer's name. The full account number or CVC number isn't released to us.

So, when an attendee gives online or pays for an event registration in Planning Center Registrations we never see that card number. When someone connects their bank account to their donor profile in Planning Center Giving, all we know is that a valid payment method, held at Stripe, exists for that donor. In fact, Planning Center Giving is an entire donation management system built on the back of Stripe tokens. It's worth repeating: not a single card or bank account number is stored in our database. The database columns just don't exist.

Stripe itself is a certified "PCI Service Provider Level 1" payment processor. This is the most stringent level of certification available. Because of Stripe, we're able to build complex products that deal with payments… without handling payment methods.

Q WHEN ARE GIFTS PROCESSED?

You are able to choose the date your gifts are to be processed.

Q WHAT IF I'M NOT A THE JOURNEY AT MAYFAIR COMMUNITY CHURCH MEMBER, BUT I WANT TO MAKE A DONATION? HOW WOULD I BE ABLE TO GET A STATEMENT FOR TAX PURPOSES?

We are happy to receive your gift, above and beyond your normal giving to your own home church.  Giving online is a perfect way for you to give. All givers receive a contribution statement regardless of membership status, assuming we have all of their correct address information.

Q WHAT IF I WANT TO CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ONLINE GIVING?

You may cancel or make changes to contributions before processing is complete.   Once your contribution has processed, you cannot make any changes to it through your online giving account.

Q WILL MY ONLINE GIFTS BE INCLUDED ON MY STATEMENT OF CONTRIBUTIONS?

Yes, they will be included.

Q CAN I VIEW MY PAST GIVING HISTORY ONLINE?

Once your gift has been processed, you may view your giving history online three business days after you have established your new account in our current system. Going forward, you will be able to view your giving history at any time.

Q HOW CAN I GET A RECEIPT OF MY ONLINE GIFT?

Your contribution statement is available via PDF once you are logged in. You will also receive a contribution statement in the mail annually. Your online contributions will appear on these paper statements.
